Carrie Browne Appointed to the Town of Jupiter Education Task Force

The Town of Jupiter recently created an Education Task Force (Resolution No. 71-18). The purpose of the Education Task Force is to make recommendations to the Town Council regarding school capacity, school renovations and construction for Town of Jupiter schools. In addition, the Task Force may address and provide information to the Town Council as to the school age after-care and summer program availability and to evaluate alternatives that might be available should there be a gap in services offered.

Healthier Jupiter’s Executive Director, Carrie Browne was appointed by Mayor Todd Wodraska to the newly formed Education Task Force and will serve a two year term. As a mother of two boys attending local Jupiter schools and a leader for health and wellness, Carrie is excited to join the Education Task Force to maintain the quality of education in the Town of Jupiter.

The next Education Task Force meeting will be March 27th. Meetings start at 6:00pm and are held in the Community Center, Meeting Room A, located at 200 Military Trail, Jupiter, FL 3345. The public is welcome to attend.
