Healthier Jupiter 2019/2020 Mini-Grant Coronavirus (COVID-19) Check Ins

With all that is going on with the COVID-19 pandemic there is a great need to be adaptive and flexible. Healthier Jupiter’s committee members have agreed to be flexible with the deadline to complete the 2019-2020 Mini-Grant. We want our Mini-Grant awardees to be able to properly execute their ideas, adjust activities or brainstorm alternatives as they see fit for their community. Over 300 community members came together at Healthier Jupiter’s Healthy Community Grants BBQ on October 12th, at which 12 Mini-Grant semi-finalists presented their projects to the public. HEALTHIER JUPITER TO HOST COMMUNITY BBQ FOR PUBLIC TO CHOOSE EIGHT COMMUNITY PROJECTS TO RECEIVE $2500 MINI GRANTS

Healthier Jupiter will bring the community together by hosting a Healthy Community Grant BBQ on October 12, 2019  from 1:00 PM – 3:30 PM at the Jupiter Community Center, 200 Military Trail, Jupiter, FL.  At this free event, the public will have an opportunity to learn about proposed projects to improve the health of our community from twelve finalists representing local not for profit and civic organizations.
