Learn about (and listen to) how to stay injury free, good nutrition, hydration and the right gear.
Start slow. When we say slow, we mean slow.
Don't worry about pace you are just getting used to the new challenges.
Don't run yourself to physical and psychological exhaustion. Remember it's meant to be fun.
Define why you run.
The beauty of running its its simplicity. One foot in front of the other.
Be aware of your surroundings.
Take plenty of different routes. Variety can prevent boredom.
